1. What is the typical turnaround time
for test results?
The average lab processing time on saliva, stool, and urine
tests is 3-5 business days. Blood tests are processed within
3-5 business days depending on complexity. The exceptions are the intestinal barrier panels which, due to complexity, take 8-14 working days depending on specimen volume. Please refer
to the individual test pages for turnaround times and more
information on specific tests.
2. How can I request test kits for my
patients?
You may call or fax your requests for receiving kits or drop shipping. The test kits can be sent to your
office or directly to patients at no charge. To get started, call 800-570-2000.
3. What if I have a question about the
test results or need assistance choosing tests?
BioHealth offers in-depth technical
and clinical support, free-of-charge to all clients. Each
physician consultant is an active practitioner trained extensively
in functional diagnostics and natural healthcare. To schedule
a telephone appointment with one of our physician consultants,
please call 800.570.2000.
4. What are the payment options?
Most practitioners prefer to have a credit card on file so
the testing is paid for at the time of processing. You may
also pre-pay for the tests, instruct your patients to include
check or credit card with the specimen, or complete your payment
information on the test requisition form.
5. Does BioHealth Diagnostics bill insurance?
No. Suggested CPT and ICD9 codes are available upon request.
6. What are your business hours?
Our friendly and responsive Client Services Group is available
7 am to 6 pm Mountain Standard Time, Monday through Friday. You may submit orders and inquiries to orders@biodia.com.
7. I am new to this approach. What resources
are available to help me learn?
The best thing you can do is start testing. Start on yourself
and/or friends and family until you have the confidence to
work with your general patient base. BioHealth offers in-depth technical and clinical support,
free-of-charge to all clients. Each physician consultant is
an active practitioner trained extensively in functional diagnostics
and natural healthcare. We also produce seminar
DVDs and Adrenal/Metabolic interpretive guides to expedite
your learning. Additionally, please see the Online
Resources page. Call 800-570-2000 FMI.
